Chad Lowe Joins Cast of 24
I really like Chad Lowe but when I tried to think of what I know him from my mind drew a blank. I headed over to IMDB and found that he’s actually been in a lot but his career has been overshadowed by his Oscar winning (ex?) wife Hilary Swank. Maybe now with his new gig on 24 he’ll be known for his acting more than his love life.
Chad Lowe is about to start watching the clock – he’s joined the cast of TV’s biggest action drama, 24.
Obviously having seen the career boost that popular telly gave his brother (that’d be The West Wing’s Rob, for anyone unaware), he must be hoping it’ll help him avoid the sort of Hollywood anonymity that leads your (soon to be ex) wife – Hilary Swank – forgetting your name as she scoops her Oscar.
He’ll play Reed Pollock, a savvy political operator based in the White House who will be going through a rough day. Also recently signed on are Numbers’ Peter MacNicol and Ray’s Regina King. Via 24 The Podcast and Empire Online
