Izzard Steps Down and Hunt Steps Up
This is a shame. Funny man (women sometimes) Eddie Izzard quit 24 after just one day of filming because of scheduling conflicts. Hmm…this sounds fishy to me. Wouldn’t the taping schedule have been planned way in advance? Maybe Eddie Izzard just couldn’t cut it on the fast paced TV drama. Anyway, Patricia Heaton’s (Everybody Loves Raymond) husband David Hunt is set to take over Eddie’s role of the villain named McCarthy.

HA Shows what you know….he’s filming his own TV show with Minnie Driver for F/X called “The Riches”. It will air in March. THAT’S what cos the conflict…24 wanted to extend his option beyond the original shooting dates.
