Party Hour 1 of 24 Commentary
Here are some comments from the folks watching 24 with me:
Ariel: Jack shouldn’t be able to walk…his muscles should have atrophied after 2 years of torture. And unbutton that collar!
Eric: The new guy at the White House is a shmuck.
Rachel: I like how they indicated that Karen and Bill are married in the EXACT IDENTICAL WAY that they used for Michelle and Tony in Season 3… I guess she did take him up on that breakfast offer eventually?
…also, seriously, I think they have said "it’s our only option" about 3 times already, and it’s only been 45 minutes.
Michael: I’ve forgotten how little happens in the first hour. And I miss the days of the commercial-free premiere. Bill and Karen will either grow apart or much closer together as the season progresses, but I’m not sure which yet. Is America really ready for a bald president?
Nathaniel: Until now, the "I’m gonna need a hacksaw" line was the nastiest thing Jack could do… and then there was the resorting to cannibalism. Apparently, the Counselor Han taught Jack a new delicacy.
Ariel: bite him jack, bite him! mmmm, terrorists taste good. like chicken?
Me: I can’t believe Chloe’s been having so much sexual tension. The barf bag is totally full!
AND…Jack must really want to rinse his mouth…Grossest scene EVER!
