24 Recap: Day 6: 8:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.

by on March 26th, 2007

Tonight’s episode of 24 we learned that Nadia was not helping the terrorists.  Thank goodness!  I was worried we’d lose the hottest cast member. :)

Also we got introduced to a new cast member who might be familiar to those of you who watched the TV show My So-Called Life.  Devon Gummersall played Brian Krakow on the TV series.  Brian was a nerd who was in love with the main character played by Claire Danes.  Anyway it was fun to see Devon, but I really didn’t like his plot line.  He plays Mark Hauser a computer guy who’s helping Gredenko.  It seems like he’s not really a bad guy though or at least we’re supposed to think that considering he’s taking good care of his handicapped brother Brady played by Scott Michael Campbell.

Also in this episode the president is woken up from his coma in order to save the Middle Eastern country from being bombed but it seems like it was a risk in vein since Noah the vice President is planning on bombing them anyway and convincing people that the President is unfit to make decisions.  I bet Wayne Palmer is going to die next episode.  We’ll see.

I guess I’m turning into a mean person but I really fond all the mushy moments of tonight’s episode annoying and useless.  Why did we need to see that Mark loved his brother Brady?  All that crap about him making him eggs but he doesn’t like peppers…well he does like them but not red ones…who gives a crap?  And then the stuff with Nadia and Milo while Chloe watched.  Double yuck!

I think we need to see more of Jack!

    I agree about the mushiness between Nadia and Milo, but I thought it was alright to show that Mark was responsible and loving towards his brother.

    Ieora;

    Mark was protrayed to be autistic (albeit in an overdone and overwrought (sp?) way by the script writers, not the actor) hence all the acting. But yeah, the peppers was a bit much to the point of stereotyping.

    Oh and I hope in 24-land Mark gets the Presidential Medal of Freedom and a job at CTU for what he did!!!
