A Female President for 24 Season 7!
Do you think the producers of 24 are trying to send a message about Hilary Clinton by casting a female president on the next season of 24?
Word on the street is that the Commander in Chief on next season’s revamped 24 will likely be a (drumroll, please) woman. Casting could begin any day now on the sure-to-be-plum part. A show rep, however, cautions, "Nothing about next season has been absolutely decided as of yet."
Assuming it does happen, 24’s lady prez would be in office just as Hillary Clinton’s bid for the White House kicks into high gear. Coincidence? Hmmm….
In other 24 news, the show is also said to be adding a female FBI agent to the mix.
As I first reported last month, 24 — in an effort to reclaim some of the creative and ratings steam it lost last season — is shaking things up in a big way during Season 7. For the first time in the show’s history, CTU will be MIA as the majority of the action moves outside Los Angeles; New York, Washington D.C. and London are among the new locales being considered. Additionally, of last season’s cast, only Kiefer Sutherland and Mary Lynn Rajskub are shoo-ins to return.
But back to the female prez: Aside from Geena Davis, what other candidates should 24 producers put on the ballot? (Did someone say Mary McDonnell?) Post your suggestions below!

President Chloe O’Brian has a nice ring to it, albeit improbable. I don’t think a majority of Americans are ready for her to take command.
But maybe President CJ Cregg/Allson Janney???? Think about it.

Uhm, how about Audrey Raines recoverd so well and became a president? LOL, no option? Hmm… then maybe uhm… Gillian Anderson! That would be cool! I mean I know her from nine seasons of the x-files, she rocks! Or maybe Julian Moore… Maybe Karen Hayes should be president now? I’m not sure really, LOL… Maybe Mimi Rogers should have the role?

i think that maybe wayne palmer’s sister should be president next season or maybe it should be angela basset. last season 6 was a real stinker. the writers of this show ave got to do better. season 5 was the best i think roger cross needs to be brought back but maybe as a corrupt agent because jack shot him or kim as corrupt.
i think a female black president is not practicable now. Maybe Karen Hayes or intoduce someonme new on the scene. Is it true Chloe O Brian is not going to be in on the next season?

YUUUUK! Just saw the opening of season 7 and it SUCKED! It seemed so fake and light weight! I may not watch another show! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! it was terrible.
