  Wow, I don’t understand all of the text in this message, but I do want to say that I hope that Kim Raver returns, however I’m not sure, knowing that she’s pregnant! But Audrey should be there too, for Jack!!! And Jack for Audrey! I don’t want see him end up with another woman… and hopefully he doesn’t get romantically involved with this Marilyn Bauer woman!!!

  By the way, am I allowed to ask a question here? When are they filming a season? I mean, when do they usually start? I used to think that they started at January and ended somewhere in October filming a season but I’m not sure about that, lol.

  The article says it: they start shooting in late summer, and they finish, I guess, in early spring.

  Anyway THANK GOD!!! I’m so glad they realized how BAD season 6 was, and that they are working hard to give us something as good as season 5!!!!

  @Andrew: Where did you read that poll??? I dissagree with America’s Got Talent being a better show than 24 season 6. As much as it dissapointed a lot of people, it’s still better than any other reality show like “America’s Got Talent” or something. At least it is in my opinion.

  And I also hope that 24 season 7 will be as good as season 5 was. It was awful to see people like Tony, Michelle and Edgar die… but the season itself was GREAT! Hopefully we’ll get to see a wonderful new season, and I believe that the writers are doing the best job they can! By the way, a series like 24, when they delaye the shootings, usually means it’s for the better, right?

  Maybe they are delaying the show so that after Kim gives birth to her second child, she’s able to return and play Audrey!!! LOL… never mind that. :p

  I was hoping to god that Jack would have gone evil after season 6… that would be the coolest thing ever, him going evil after all the jobs put him through he wants revenge!!! thad be so cool….(he would be the most devistaing terroist ever!!) btw season 4 was def the best season ever!! 5 was great!!! but season 4 was better, season 6 not so good….ok…… i dont like the new guy w/e his name is lol… but w/e season 7 better be really good… or ppl are going to lose interest, o and i totally agree jack wins so many times and each season is the same… dont get me wrong i like the idea of a higher power disagreeing with jacks actions like ryan chapel in season 2 but it does it like every season and its old!!! o the show didnt win any emmys this year! which is bad!… season 7 better win emmys! cause the show is going to die soon… i hope not i have all seasons on dvd and its one of my favorites! and 24 is not the 2nd worst season on fox its prolly near the top in my book and im sure many others!!!!!!!!!!!! i just hope season 7 will be a knock out!!!!!!

  Honestly Jack Bauer Shouldn’t die in the end of the show however something should happen to make him lose at least once. And to the comment about jack going evil that might be a cool idea but they should not make it so jack is hated by the fans they should make it a revenge thing. and L8Nite your a dumbass.   I agree that for season 7 they definitely need to kick it up a notch. Of all 6 seasons, 6 was without a doubt the worst. So far the only main characters that are definitely coming back are Jack, Chloe, and Morris. I really miss a lot of the main characters who were killed off, but i guess it was for the better. That is one of the great things about the show. You never know who they will kill, but i love that because it adds to the suspense and intensity of the show. Oh and by the way, Nina is not coming back.

  I still stand by what I said. the perfect starting plot in my mind is for cheng to escape and bauer end up killing him like he killed fayed in a fight. Also, Phillip bauer was a great character in my mind, he was extremely smart and able to manipulate many things that happened in season 6. I think another rivalry could be Jack & Heller seeing what happened in the end of season 6. ” I wonder whose side Audrey would take”.

  First a female president, and now the production crew and possibly the plot will pursue the global warming political scam. I don’t know the phrase that replaced “jumped the shark”, but if you know it…insert it here. We sat glued to the screen with the phones off and sound up for 6 seasons. We rented DVD’s and binged on a season or two. But when the show leaves entertainment and enters current politics as opposed to script/fantasy politics…then we bid a fond farewell. All things end. Some are quick and ‘poof’ they’re gone. Others twist and slowly fade. 24 seems to have picked it’s exit. Prove me wrong…and I will know Jack Bauer exists, but for now, it looks like we have a sloped shouldered chickafied loser somewhere in the production uppy-ups. Bummer

  Season 6 got off to a great start with **spoilers** the nuke and Curtis. It never really bettered itself after the first 4 episodes, exept the fight with Fayed (the only real highlight afterwards).

  As much as i love 24 and i don’t know how i’m going to fill that gap, i’m glad there are only 2 more series left. I’d hate for it to become really tiresome and annoying like some shows **cough** LOST!

  And as for 24 being the second worst TV show? That just goes to prove AGAIN that critics have their heads shoved so far up their own backsides they havn’t the slighest clue what they’re talking about.

  They have to bring Chase back into the feild, i know he will have one hand but hey, Chase aint dead and if your not dead in 24 you can be brought back, just like milo was brought back from season 1 then killed in season 6. hope they dont do that with chase. ALSO i wanna see my Girlfriend Kim back in action ( i wish she was my Girlfriend ) in more episodes like the 1st 3.

  Deffinatley, season 6 was the worst season yet, since it was the ONLY bad season so far. If anyone thinks Nina is coming back, you’re a dumbass. She’s DEAD. Janeane Garofalo is supposedly in the next season which will make it better cuz shes such a great actress. They should also bring Kim back and have a storyline with her. Jack has NO ONE left but her so having her in the show makes perfect sense.

Jack has Audrey left, Also I heard that there isnt going to be CTU next season jack is going to start off as he did in season 5 although hes not going to be under an alias, the storylines going to be more personal to jack bauer and there will be smaller terrorist plots if their are terrorists at all next season. they are changing it around i presume.

  Im glad people recognise that season 6 started off with a sprint but ended with a walk. Hopefully there will be a few twisted like bringing Theo Stoller (Henry Ian Cusick from LOST) back from season 5 after jack screwed him over. Hope

  I don’t think that anyone who wished Nina hadn’t died and wanted to see her return somehow, is stupid or a dumbass. I liked her too and if she hadn’t died, I would have liked to see her coming back, too.

  And I agree with Bauerfan24… Jack has Audrey! Audrey loves him more than she loves anyone else, I think. She goes after him to save him, even though it meant trouble for herself. She refused to listen to her father and friends. She needs Jack to recover from the China trauma, and Jack needs her. They know what they’ve been through and share those feelings with one another, no one else does. Not her father, not Chloe, not Bill, not Karen… no one else but the two of them, who were actually there. — Also, I think Audrey has been (or still is) the best girlfriend Jack ever had on 24. I can’t say too much about Teri. I never thought she really loved Jack. Most of what I saw from her was that she was afraid and when she was around him, she just loved to have an arm around her, but Jack could’ve been just as well some stranger, LOL. That’s the feeling she gave me. I’ve not seen too much of Kate either. They saw each other on a bad day and besides one hug, I’ve not seen anything else between them that I thought looked sweet. Maybe I’m wrong and forgot about the other ’sweet’ moments, but still I don’t think she’s the right one for Jack, LOL. And as for Claudia, I never really liked that woman. I don’t think she was a matching girlfriend for Jack. When it comes to Audrey, I DO think she is the PERFECT girlfriend for Jack. And we learned that she really loves him more than anything, after watching season six. Anyway, I’m just a HUGE Jack/Audrey fan so I will not talk bad about her anyway, LOL.

  And Kim Bauer the only one he has left? I already said I agree with Bauerfan24, but according to what I understood from season five, Kim made it pretty clear to her dad that she no longer wanted to be around him, so it’s obvious that he doesn’t have her anymore. At least not until she wants to have him back in her life. But my guess is that this will only be if she is no longer “romantically” involved with her psychologist, LOL.

  I guess there’s only one thing we really can do, which is waiting until January begins, and 24’s new season starts!

  Kim IS the only person Jack has left. She is the only one in his life who he actually cares for that he hasn’t told to let him be on his own (Audrey). Kim made the decision to stay away from Jack, for now. What I meant is that having a storyline with Jack’s daughter would be very personal and exciting, rather than watching annoying Audrey every week. It was much better when she was gone… Then they brought her back and season 6 got really bad. Am I right? Yes. And yes, thinking Nina will come back does make you a dumbass! Wanting her to is different, but thinking….. Maybe they should stop killing off characters RIGHT when we start to enjoy them (Palmer, Nina, Sherry, Edgar, Teri, Milo, George, Chapelle, AKA the GOOD characters). And stop getting rid of characters for no reason (Kim, Chase, Kate, Logan and his wife, and all the other people who work at CTU for like 4 hours then disappear into thin air……).

  AHHH why am I even arguing with you internet people.. Only cuz ive watches 24 since its first season in 2001 and i love it.

  P.S. chloe is fuckin awesome. if she ever leaves everyone will hate 24.

  Amen to that lisa!!!!!!! I enjoyed reading that lol i really want to see Audrey and jack become romanticly involved. I also really want to see kim return though, she was a good character. Chase would make a good comeback also even though he is the 1 armed menace now :P. So yeah i really cant wait till janurary and see what new adventures 24 brings. Also, I loved season 2 the best i love how they had the cyprus audio recording plot that pushed the country to world war 3. And David Palmer was the only one who believed in jack I loved that season the most out of al of em.

  Heller shouldnt of talked that shit about jack either, after what jack did for him & audrey in season 4 he should be on his knees in front of jack bauer. He saved his life for god sakes. I heard tony almeida might still be alive thats incredible news, and charles logan is going to have an appearance so they say in season 7 its going to be rock on! Stay tuned till janurary and keep posting on this site!!!

  I don’t think that Bauerfan24 is an idiot! There are many fans who believe that Tony didn’t die after all, because he didn’t get the silent clock. Also, at the Comic Con with 24, they remained vague about Tony’s death. — Quote 1: “The subject turns to fan favorite Tony Almeida. Is he dead? The go-to comment of “Keep watching!” from the execs is the immediate reply, followed by the funnier, “Tony is alive in our hearts.” — Quote 2: “An alternate ending was considered for the finale of season six that saw an old character coming back. In it, Bauer is walking along a cliff when he hears a voice. “Jack,” says the voice. A figure walks out of the shadows and its Tony Almeida. “Jack, come with me, we have a lot to talk about.” This is further evidence that Tony may still be alive.” — And there’s probably more, but those were the ones I found first, while quickly searching at Google. So, it’s not that weird that Bauerfan24 thinks Tony might not be dead after all! I think that there are many more fans who believe, or want to believe, that Tony’s still alive!

  And yes, Chase was a good character. It’s sad that he was forced to have his hand cut off. I liked Chase too. He was a good couple with Kim, much better than Kim and Barry, LOL. I also hope that Kim will make up with Jack one day. Jack has been through enough bad stuff in his life, in my opinion, so he could use some happiness now, together with both Audrey and Kim. They will make his life complete, I think. However, I have a strange feeling that before (IF) he gets what he wants, he’s first going to face a few more bad days. LOL, brings me to the idea of making a 10 minutes clip from “Jack’s life right now” (after the series has end) in which he’s happily together with Audrey and his daughter! :D

  I liked season five the most, with season four following. Then my list goes: season three, two, one and then six. LOL. Season five’s storyline was just brilliant, so many good scenes and stuff that happened. Also, I love the scenes between Jack and Audrey! As always of course, LOL. Oh and yes, David Palmer has been a great president as well as a good friend to Jack! It’s horrible that all those good and sweet characters were killed off. Luckily for us, or at least for the Audrey fans, we still have her alive! :D

If the writers try to say he didnt really die, it makes NO sense. Tony pretended to die and made his heart stop? Or jack just cried and walked away because tony “kind of” died? No.

However, an “action-love” season like the stuff that happened in season four, and partly in season five, works fine for me too! LOL, then we get both! :D

  Anyway, when did Kim tell her dad about Chase’s hand? I mean I can’t remember her saying anything about Chase’s hand in season five? I know what she said to her father about Chase and her breaking up. — “You can’t hold onto anything, Chase couldn’t either. He tried for a while and now he’s gone, just like you. And now you’re back and now I’m just supposed to…” — That’s from episode 12… Oh and I got that line from “kiefersutherland24.net”.

  By the way, thinking about Tony’s death, or “staged death” … Jack never got a chance to go to his funeral… :( Or the Michelle’s funeral, Palmer’s funeral or Edgar’s funeral… Sigh, I feel sorry for Jack that he has to go through so many bad things in his life! How much more can he really take?

  Yea.. the love story is okay. I guess I just dont like Audrey. Shes annoying to me. I liked Kate from season 2! but they just got rid of her for no reason..

  I mean, if tony’s not dead i wont be upset cuz i love tony.. but it just doesnt make sense to me why it would be staged.

  Lisa (and others) - Chase was undergoing surgery to have his hand re-attached in the last few minutes of season 3, and Kim was told that the surgeons were “optimistic” about reattachment which she passed on to Jack.

  If you can’t remember, it was the moment when Kim and Jack talked to each other in the hospital, after which Jack walked outside to his car, and finally began to cry.

  well, i think they have done the nukes, nerve gas, virus thing to death now and we probably couldn’t stand another season(let me correct that, we would stand it with a groan for jack bauer!) Jack bauer becoming a baddy isnt such a bad idea…but more exiciting would be to do something in the lines of die hard itself…some hostage situation…some bank robbery and bauer caught in the middle of it…he takes on the baddies without any tech gizmos…typical John Mclane style…

  Ok so Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) has signed up as of last season for a total of 3 more years So Jack is coming back. If you read up you will find this information. Nina was Shot by Jack Bauer, you cant actually see the blood but you see him shooting her, and the entire 24 Show from day 1 of season 1 to the last day of season 6 was the best freaking show in the world! AND U KNOW IT! So prepare yourselves for the best show continue for at least a total of 10 days, (10 Seasons) YEAH BABY I CANT WAIT.

  Also, charles logan WILL be back he did not die in season 6 he was rushed to the hospital, he played an interesting role in season 6 as a guy who still had connections with high ranking officials connected to the nerve gas. I am curious what role he will play in season 7. Kim Bauer SHOULD make an appearence and if she does it will be s big one in my oppinion.

I mean, as far as I know, all he’d left were Audrey and Kim… and they’re both gone… so than he’ll have at least one person back into his life! =D Of course he also had Chloe, but I think his relationship, or feelings for and with Chloe are completely different than the feelings for Audrey, or for his daughter!

  Some interesting views out here. It seems as though most fans liked Tony. I also felt something special about his cool, collective and supportive character but was expecting him to die since season 1 …for some unknown innate reason. (The way the writers set up suspense allows room for an “anything could happen” imagination.) Whether he comes back or not is all good …I’m not gonna complain!
  Now, a little whacked thought for all>
  After reading the ideas regarding the evil Jack, lover boy Jack, family man Jack, less CTU Jack and president Jack (LoL) …I thought the writers could really pull-off the most unexpected thing ever on this show. Kill Jack! We all know anyone can die on this show with its catchy plot twists but nobody expects Jack to die …not so crazy/retarded …IF (big if) Jack was to get all sappy with family for the first couple of hours while being hunted by enemies …then just around the 12th hour Jack dies (hell, kill Audrey too) …leaving fans confused and pissed as hell. In the next episode (*following a funeral Jack will have to attend) we find out something bizarre or retarded (lol) YES, Jack is dead …but not completely because he has a Twin Brother (or clone -or some bionic crap) who is now seeking revenge (hence ‘evil Jack’ LOL) The new psycho Jack (mentally ill cuz he actually thinks he’s the president -lol) teams up with the dead Tony and are now involved in revenge plots as CTU is hunting them down. MMMmm and somewhere in all that chaos they visit Nina’s grave …confirm her DNA/dead remains and Nuke the graveyard! Sweet retarded shit!!!!!!!

  I SO think that they should bring Mandy back this season. I’ve been waiting 2 seasons already for her to come back for an awful body-count assignment she’s been given! Oh Mandy…..
  Anyways I’d love them to shake it up a bit. I think Bill Buchanan should go cos he’s just dull and the “thing” with Morris and Chlow should be got rid of. It’s just annoying. I love love Chloe, but Morris sucks!

  Carlos Bernard will return as Tony Almeida in the premiere of season 7. Show-runner Howard Gordon explained that Tony’s “uncertain fate” left the door open for his return and cited the lack of a “silent clock” as a deliberate move to keep his death ambiguous. “We didn’t give him the silent clock because we always wanted to keep alive the possibility for some kind of (admittedly) miraculous resurrection … which we will explain,” and followed up with “He’s definitely NOT the Almeida we once knew.”

  So there you have it he’s back!

  Thought id add to this thread, yes Tony is on his way back and i am soo glad, shame Fox had to flaming ruin it for me by telling me! Hes great and if hes bad or good Jack has his friend back.   Moving on season 6 was pretty poor, a good end would have done it, then again wasnt it a big twist that the end was soo bad? biggest twist i have seen!

  Nina was evil, darn evil you have to love her. Not coming back Jack has done what was needed.

  Someone saying bad things dont happen to Jack? He had to shoot Chapel in the head? His wife and daughter were kidnapped? he thought Kim was killed? Is that not bad enough he thought tony was dead & Michelle was killed, he also killed his mate in series 6 forgot his name, shot him in neck.

  Dont make him bad, make him mad.

  Someone menioned Lost, can i just say, Lost was meant to be one or two series, then it got popular so now there is no end to the ridiculous storyline and complete boredom. 24 is a new story each series thus there need not be an end to Jack Bauer! Also looking forward to the film……

  Champnos, my thoughts exactly. I was just sitting here reading all these, and someone said “let Jack lose once in a while.” In my opinion he loses all the time. In addition to all the things you mentioned, what about the 20 months in Chinese prison? His wife got kidnapped? She got killed!! What about the smack habit? Anybody remember the very last scene of season three? The very last scene of season four? The very last scene of season five? Six, even? This guy loses everything, every season!!

  Also, everyone here has ranked their favorite season. Although season 5 was the most shocking of all, I have to say season 4 was overall the best. I just loved when Jack when in to rescue Audrey alone. That was one of the more heroic sequences in 24 history. Also the interplay between Jack and a bitter Tony was great. And also, one of the best and most mysterious villains, that needs to be brought back, Mandy. 24 Head honchos know they need to tie up that loose end.

  For the record I don’t like Audrey. She irritated the hell out of me. and what the hell was she thinking going to China looking for Jack? Judging by past behavior, her wishy washy nature does not lead me to believe that she would go running off trying to save Jack from the Chinese.

  I just hope that the executives of the show will finally listen to a voice of reason instead of money. The best way to ruin the show is to let it go on and on and on. Im sorry to say this but its time to go. They should never have done season 6 the way the did what’s better yet they should have put a lot more work into season 4 and finnish with the great ending that they had there. Because now they going to continue on till the show will have no ratings and going to be cancelled. Im sure im not the only one seeing this moment approaching. If any of the people working on the season read this PLEASE let Jack go.
  PS pay attention to small details as well - after 2 years of tortured imprisonment, and most likely close to death starvation, you have Jack jumping through hoops and killing in hand-to-hand combat opponents that are younger, healthier and in a great shape - like they are matchstick men. Actually talking about age. Seriously, how old is Jack? Season 1 he has a daughter of 16-17 so he’s at least 35 then. How long has it been since?

  Serg makes some good points there. I always thought that they would keep the show from turning into “Walker, Texas Ranger” where Chuck Norris could do no wrong and took out punks younger and healthier than he was, all the time without question. Jack had his heart stopped in season 2, was tortured before season 6, and then he comes back as if he barely missed a beat except for some psychological repercussions that they really did NOT play up well (and had the potential to be portrayed a whole lot better in season 6). The writers went a little too cowboy on us and banked the whole season on Jack’s reputation as the invincible CTU agent, rather than a real story, so that mostly the die-hard fans were the ones still watching after 10 hours of the show.

  I don’t know if it should be canceled, though (yeah, I’m a die hard fan too!). The plot twist of Tony coming back - and possibly being Jack’s greatest enemy yet (http://www.24trailer.com/) - may be good enough to turn the series back around. It does look like the series is otherwise going to be pretty much a reboot which focuses on Jack’s character though, and none of the old CTU shenanigans but a completely new set of agencies and settings. Probably a good thing at this point, since they really did kill off almost all the good characters from before besides Buchanan and Chloe (and left the rest comatose or unresponsive).

  I have just been reading through everyone’s ideas and hopes for season 7 and disappointment for season 6. I want to start by defending season 6. Some of the scenes in it were amazing. Who will ever forget Jack shooting Curtis, a nuke going off right in L.A. or learning that Jacks family were behind the shooting of Palmer? And the last scene of the season with Jack confronting Heller was brilliant. Jack finally realised that he had been used by the government and had lost everything. It wasn’t the best season by a long shot but it was still fantastic TV. Anyway with that out of the way I have come up with a new theory that no one else has even thought of yet. The producers of 24 have said Tony’s “uncertain fate” left the door open for his return and cited the lack of a “silent clock” as a deliberate move to keep his death ambiguous. “We didn’t give him the silent clock because we always wanted to keep alive the possibility for some kind of (admittedly) miraculous resurrection … which we will explain.” But I have just watched through season 5 again and noticed it wasn’t only Tony that didn’t get a silent clock or a body bag, Michelle didn’t either. With Tony gone bad because of his “loss” maybe Michelle is the only one who can call out to him. To make him see what he is doing. Or she could just be dead!!!! Anyway all I know is that I can’t wait for season 7 because a really really bad season of 24 is still better than the best season of WALKER TEXAS RANGER!
  Lastly they should bring back Chase. He was brilliant and could possibly be the agent to carry 24 after Jacks death.

  True - season 6 did have some good points. Not too much a fan of the Bauer “evil-family” story arc but it wasn’t terrible by any means and I think some parts of it were done really well. And yes, the scene with Curtis’ death was pretty incredible, and so was the last ten minutes of the season - and don’t forget Jack’s final confrontation with Fayed. Still think they could have done a lot more with the development of certain stories (Jack’s psychological torture in China, etc.), and some parts did seem very contrived (Cheng calls Jack one minute after he kills Fayed?).

  But don’t worry, I don’t think that season (or any other) is equivalent to Walker Texas Ranger. :)

  Seems like all of us are going to have to wait, though. Apparently, NBC didn’t get all the episodes filmed before the writer’s strike, and so the series is going to be “postponed indefinitely” - if you check out the 24 website, it says “coming in 2008″ instead of “January.” What are we getting instead? The “Terminator” spin-off. Wow.

  I think “24″ is the best show on TV.. I hate reality TV, or most on the tube. 24 is filled with action. I have found a new respect for Kiefer Sutherland, I don’t think anyone else could pull it off like he does. Oh and I hope Kiefer never dies, I don’t think I would watch it as much as I do now.   I also heard that Tony might somehow be coming back. I really hope that’s true! Him and Chase were my favorite characters in the series.

  I think Kim should also come back, even if it’s only for a few episodes. One thing that I really didn’t like about the 6th season was that Jack never called her to say that he was back from China. I understand that he didn’t want her to know when he thought he was going to die in the first episode of the season, but after he escaped you’d think he’d let her know that he’s back.

  I think Bauer should get a reasonably happy ending for once in season 7. The end of season 3 was the last time that he was still living some semblance of a normal life, where he wasn’t either having to go into hiding, being shipped off by his own government, or staring into nothingness after his girlfriend lay there unresponsive. I mean, the cliffhangers are great and all, but he oughta get some sort of peace at the end of this season, even if it’s just a hug from his daughter.

  24 Season 2 is the worst. 24 better be good this time around. If you realize 24 has a trend. Season 1 good, Season 2 - worst season, Season 3-awesome, Season 4-Slept through some of it, Season 5-Amazing, Season 6- Alright. You know what comes next. Season 7-best season yet. Although the fact that they’re bringing back Tony is hard to believe even though they are. Tony died in Jack’s arms. Hell, if Tony could come back, then Curtis and Milo should too. Hell!!! The plot to make Tony a bad guy is good but they sure as hell have to explain how he didn’t die in Season 5.

  Ok everyone - it’s official. 24 is postponed until spring of 2009 because Fox does not want to air episodes over the summer (which is a lower ratings period generally). They claim that they are doing this to respect fans wishes that the entire 24 episodes be aired without interruption.

  Personally, I’d be fine with them airing them without interruption . . . IN 2008!!!! But they’re not willing to start doing so over the summer or even to interfere with their fall line-up.

  To people that say Bauer should lose at least once…. Consider the following.

  1. His ex-girlfriend, Nina, tried to kill him, several times.
  2. His Wife was murdered by his ex girlfriend.
  3. He was addicted to Heroin.
  4. He was tortured to death, then brought back to life only to be tortured more.
  5. He had to fake his own death.
  6. He spent 20 months in a Chinese Torture Camp
  7. His daughter will not talk to him
  8. Audrey, his newest girlfriend, is catatonic after being tortured while trying to find him.
  9. The government gave him up to islamic terrorists to be killed.

  I think he has lost enough. I think it is a great idea that CTU is gone. CTU kepps second guessing his expertise. Why would want to work for a set of people that can’t trust you half the time.

And yeah, good thing that CTU will be gone in 2009, though I’m glad that Chloe and Buchanan will be coming back. They need to stop killing off ALL the good characters . . .

  Don’t forget to add these to the list:

  10. His dad threatened to kill his nephew, and him, and was linked to terrorists.
  11. His brother was essentially willing to kill him.
  12. Three(-ish) of his friends were killed within the course of 24 hours on Day 5.
  13. He had to shoot two colleagues for the good of national security over the course of his career.
  14. His lover was shot as she tried to escape the villains on Day 2.
  15. He had to chop off his daughter’s boyfriend’s (his own partner’s) hand.
  16. He found out his daughter is dating her older therapist. (ouch)
  17. He found out the therapist is a namby-pamby jerk. (ouch again)

  I’m sure there’s more that I missed.

  Wow some real interesting thoughts! I can’t believe season 7 is delayed until 2009. I’m personally hoping it gives them plenty of time to review it and make sure it doesn’t suck like season 6. Being a die hard fan of 24 and I can’t seem to watch the second half of season 6 really says something. I personally want Jack to lose it and go crazy for once, why does he always have to do the right thing? Maybe cos he’s the good guy is a fair point but after everyting he’s gone through and the way CTU still treat him… I’m not surprised that so many of the employees join the bad guys!
  As for Kim.. what’s the deal with her being funny with Jack? I don’t get it, the country is at stake and he’s put that on hold to save her sorry ass which seems to get kidnapped time and time again. I think it’s about time she saved her dad for once and on that point you’d think Jack’s daughter would be a little smart! She’s damn sexy though ;) Shame they killed off some great characters but it’s 24 and you never know who will be back!
  Someone spotted a great trend though, season 1 being great, 2 not so great, 3 nice, 4 a little dull, 5 Awesome! 6 ermm cough! Maybe different teams write it. I know in my company we have 2 teams wich produce every other version of the same game to take a break. Every other version is a no1 hit, the other team are a little disappointing. Might not be the case but it’s the same trend. Looking forward to season when I can get through the rest of season 6!

  Ok i have read some of the comments regarding season 6, all i have to say is “BULL ****” ok, it may not have been as good as the rest of the other “DAYS” in the show but, it was still WAY BETTER then any other show on TV, I thought season six was still very good and like all the DAY’S before season 6 i did not want to stop watching the whole time.   As for season seven ideas, throw all the current ideas out the window. What they need is some new Material. No more Nuclear weapons, No More Gas/Chemical weapons. They need something new. Something like a Neutron bomb (for those of you that do not know what one is it is a bomb that in Theory wipes out all organic tissue leaving building, trees, cars/ everything else intact) some planted in Several key cities that ACTUALLY GO OFF, or possably several small ones planted in Key places like “THE WHITE HOUSE” which could take out key players like say “THE JOINT CHIEFS” wipeing out a huge portion of are countries leadership dealing us a cripling blow!! This could all happen while bringing back Key people like Jack’s doughter Kim, his girlfriend Audrey, and Chase from i believe “DAY 3″ which could be a good allie for jack. They could also choose to bring back president Palmer because they did not show what happened to him. Hell, even bring back Audrey’s father and Mike Novick. They could be good character in important roles to kill off adding even more suspence while looking for the Neutron bombs that are still remaining in other key locations vital to the success of are nations Infrastructure, such as Wall Street (where Audrey could possable work now haha). They could easly do all of this by switching locations the story takes place from LA to DC. Jack could also be head/part of the presidents secerity detail (NEWER JOB FOR HIM) which would put him right in the middle of the Action without having to wast time to explain where he has been for the last year or two finally haha. some many good ideas i tell ya and i have more but i’ll stop here

She would have rented an apartment somewhere in a posh surburb appartment .they would have showed us her life living alone with fear that ctu will find her,her boyfriend visiting her, having romance, going out,then ctu would have sentTony Almeda to find her but shes proving to be too smart for him and some emotional love scene between her boy friend and her.
