More 24 Production Delays
The filming of the 7th season of Fox’s hit TV show 24 has been delayed yet again! I hope everything is ok!
The seventh season of Fox’s Emmy-winning "24" is facing another production delay.
The real-time drama starring Kiefer Sutherland that was scheduled to start filming Aug. 27, will now begin shooting Sept. 10 so that the writers can complete enough scripts for the new seasonlong plot.
Production start on 20th Century Fox TV/Imagine TV’s "24" originally was pushed from late July-early August to Aug. 27 when the producers’ original set-in-Africa story line fell through and they went back to the drawing board.
There has been only one new casting on the show so far — Cherry Jones as the U.S. president — with a couple of other deals at different stages.
"24" is going through a major revamping this year after coming off a lackluster sixth season.

The longer they wait filming 24 season 7, the more hope I get that it is possible for Kim Raver to play Audrey Raines again in season 7. I’m aware of the fact that she has a new show and probably wants to spend the first month(s) after her pregnancy at home, with her family and all… I respect that and really want her new show to big a big success and want her to have a happy life together with her husband and by then, two kids. She deserves that! And I really do admire anything she does, but non of this makes my hope dissapear. Not until I hear in the show that Audrey died… however… even THAT might not be what it seems, like we learned in season 6. Just hope that she returns and that she stays ALIVE if she returns!
Okay to come back to this article… hopefully the writers and producers will not start to stress, because the later they start shooting, the closer they come to January and then it returns on TV. However, I’m sure they will do a great job with season 7 again! Even though they’re facing all these delays, maybe it’s THIS that makes season 7 the best season of the entire show!

On the contrary… some of us want Audrey to go away quickly… I, for one, will be watching Lipstick Jungle in the hopes that it becomes a huge hit and she leaves Jack Bauer alone! It’s no fun to watch when Jack has “tender moments, give me a break!
