Elisha Cuthbert’s Sassy…or Crazy
Elisha Cuthbert’s career has been in a slight lull as of late. But 2008 looks to be picking up, with a television show, mini-series and a few movies in the works. The oddest of these being My Sassy Girl, a remake of an insanely popular 2001 Korean film of the same name. Cuthbert stars as Jordan Roarke, an enigmatic woman who while being gorgeous and alluring, is also absolutely insane.

My Sassy Girl will be released sometime in 2008, with an exact date still to be announced.
Personally I thought the trailer looked kind of…..awful. What do you guys think?

American remake of the Asian movies means the Western could appreciate and acknowledge the artistry in films of the Asian. They are not promising that they could surpass the original, of course that would be impossible, as actors have their own distinct appeal and style. But the good thing about remake is that they are setting again the trend in bigger crowd to acknowledge its original.
Exciting to see this film!
