Dennis Haysbert fans can finally breathe a sign of relief, he will be returning to tv in the fall. After months of being on the bubble, CBS officially announced today at their Upfront presentation this week that The Unit will be returning to their schedule.
The Unit follows the professional and personal lives of a group of military officers, headed by Jonas Blane (Dennis Haysbert), who specialize in counter terrorism and high risk missions. The show first premiered in 2006, and airs Tuesday at 9pm on CBS.

Alan,
I’ve never seen it either, but considering it’s a military procedural, don’t really think it’s up my alley…

I am an avid fan of “The Unit!” I am so excited to learn that it will be returning for a fourth season (hoping this is true). Though I am not one to watch a lot of military based movies, “The Unit” is unique in that it not only highlights the missions, it focuses on the private lives of the men. You get to know the wives and children of the men in unit. One of the featured characters was “killed” last season–a plot that I, personally, protested. I hope the men can escape further casualties. “The Unit” is returning!!!! I can’t wait!!!! Thank you CBS. You finally got one right!
