This is arguably the most extraordinary series ever filmed for television. We eagerly await the coming of seasen 7 on DVD in Germany. Despite the availability of season 7 in the US and elsewhere, without German overdubbed dialogue, subtitles etc. the people here in Germany (and in particular my wife- a big fan!)cannot enjoy it. For this reason I have not ordered a copy, as the US version has only Spanish and French as alternative languages. After a prolonged wait due to the writers strike in the US, this delay has been rather too long. I hear that season 8 will premier shortly, and will be among the first in line top see this, having no doubt that the high standard of writing, plotting and charactor development will have been maintained in season 7. BUT I would need to see number 7 first- although any of the series would be excellent stand alone entertainment, I am clear that this series is best viewed in sequence. The evolving storyline has been one of the most fascinating aspects of 24, along with trhe real time concept. Again, great TV. Thanks Fox.
