Voight spoke to reporters at this weeks TCA’s and told them that his character is “a witty fellow, sarcastic perhaps. While promoting his latest project, a Canadian remake of Othello to air on CBC Sunday, Carlo Rota told the Toronto Star that the writers’ strike caused him to drop out of 24. Rota, who also stars on CBC’s hit comedy Little Mosque on the Prairie, was forced to choose between both shows, and he chose Little Mosque over 24 because the strike went on so long.
