For the first time ever the Emmy’s have released the lists of the short listed comedy and drama shows, five of which will get nominated in each category. The shortlisted drama’s range from House, to Dexter to Mad Men. 24 is however not on the list, simple because it did not air this year.
On a bright note, Glenn Morshower’s (Agent Aaron Pierce) Friday Night Lights did make the drama shortlist, and that’s good news because it’s the best damn show on television.

It’s Aaron Pierce!!! It’s Aaron Pierce!!!!! I didn’t care that this episode was full of twists and violence, the only thing that I cared about was the first appearance of Glenn Moreshower as Aaron Pierce. He didn’t do much, but it’s the promise that counts. Come on, he’s Agent Pierce damnit!
