Crazy Man Rams Car and Claims He’s Jack Bauer

February 26, 2008 by Diana

Edgar Sullivan,  a college student from Baltimore, apparently takes 24 a little too seriously.  Sullivan was involved in auto accident where he rammed his vehicle repeatedly into another man’s car.  What made the incident peculiar was that Sullivan was supposedly doing it to protect the US, that the man he was hitting was a terrorist, and that he was indeed Jack Bauer, just defending his country.  When arrested, Sullivan told officers, “My name is Jack Bauer and I work for the FBI and the Secret Service. My wife and family was kidnapped by the president and terrorist.”

I’m thinking Sullivan shouldn’t be allowed to drive again, but apparently the authorities let him off easy, just giving him parole.  He could probably use a literacy test as well….and maybe some mental help?

Kiefer Sutherland Jail Update

December 5, 2007 by Diana

KieferSutherlandAs I posted earlier, Kiefer Sutherland surrendered himself into the Glendale City Jail at 5:30pm last night. This was unexpected, as he was supposed to report to prison December 21st(his birthday). Apparently since filming has been delayed due to the writer’s strike, Kiefer decided to ask for a change of venue and start his time early. He was supposed serve his sentence at the LA Country Twin Towers(an institution known for its 23 hours of solitary confinement a day) but Kiefer’s lawyer appealed and got him a transfer to the Glendale City Jail.

According to TMZ, Kiefer’s “booking records show he is 5′10″, 150 lbs, blue eyes, blond hair, 40 years old.” He will wear the mandatory orange jumpsuit and spend his time performing laundry and kitchen duties.

Glendale Police Chief, Randy Adams, says that Sutherland won’t get any special treatment, “The fact that he’s a celebrity — he checked that at the door when he checked in.”

Kiefer will serve his 48 days consecutively, which means he won’t be leaving if he gets sick, unlike say Paris Hilton did.

I’ll update throughout the day with any additional information. For my previous post, featuring Kiefer’s mugshot, head here.
