Kiefer Sutherland recently talked to Entertainment Weekly about his character Jack Bauer and where he’s headed. If you don’t like spoilers, DO NOT READ!

EW caught up with Kiefer at the Season 7 finale screening and asked him about some of the biggest twists of the season and of course, what the future holds.

Oh, and (SPOILER ALERT) fans, you can breathe easy: Executive Producer Howard Gordon told EW that Jack will live to see the sunrise at least once more.

EW asked, “What’s it like to have Jack on the verge of death right now?”

Here’s what Kiefer had to say:

It has to go in stages and you just try to monitor in your head where physically you are with the character. From a dramatic perspective, it’s a great dynamic to be able to play that, certainly in the context of the relationship between Jack and his daughter. I have a 21 year old daughter and a 31 year old daughter, and I found that to be moving personally as a man. All of those things I was very excited to do.

A new statement has been released on behalf of Brooke Shields regarding the whole incident at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala Benefit.

Here’s the statement that was released Monday (May 11th): “(Shields) was bumped into by Jack MCCollough and Kiefer Sutherland became concerned… Kiefer has always been a gentleman in her company.”

Kiefer Sutherland’s attorney Michael Miller has also issued a statement regarding the situation. He said, “We are troubled by the untruthful and self-serving information circulating regarding Kiefer Sutherland and events of last Monday evening. We are confident, however, that the investigation being conducted by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and the NYPD will confirm that Kiefer Sutherland was neither the instigator nor a wrongdoer in this incident.”

Kiefer Sutherland turned himself into police on Thursday and was arrested and charged with assault for headbutting another man at a party in New York City.

Sutherland entered he building flanked by his lawyers. After answering questions from investigators, he was booked on one count of misdemeanor assault and issued an appearance citation, which allows the 24 star to travel until his June 22 arraignment.

He was released on his own recognizance.

Kiefer Sutherland and his girlfriend,Siobhan Bonnouvie, attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala Benefit celebrating The Model as Muse in NYC on May 4th. Kiefer looked very handsome in his three piece tuxedo.

There’s a rumor going around that Kiefer head-butted a designer, Jack McCollough, at the party. According to the first Huffington Post article, Kiefer was defending Brooke Shields.

The updated article now has a quote from Shields’ rep saying that she had nothing to do with the incident. Jack designs clothes for Shields and reportedly touched her inappropriately. When asked if her touched her, the rep said, “We don’t know”.

Kiefer Sutherland has been everywhere lately, so I thought I would do a video round-up today. Kiefer recently visited the Johnny Dare Morning Show to chat about “24”. He has such a great radio voice.

We all know that Kiefer Sutherland has had his fair share of personal issues. Who hasn’t? But his issues just so happen to be splashed all over the media. Does he blame the hectic, crazy schedule and pressures of filming such a hit show for his personal issues? Nope. Not at all.

He told Britain’s Daily Mirror, “Whatever has happened I’ve created for myself.

"I’m not going to blame the show for that. I’ve been lucky enough to work as a professional actor for more than 20 years and for the past few years I haven’t wondered and worried about where the next job was coming from.

"The benefits are so huge I couldn’t even describe them. And whatever dilemmas I have created for myself on a personal level had nothing to do with the show."

Through everything, Kiefer has managed to keep a decent relationship with the media and his fans have stood by him.

Kiefer Sutherland is set to star in a new Joel Schumacher film, based on the Nick McDonell novel, Twelve.

Variety reports Chace Crawford, Emma Roberts, Rory Culkin, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Ellen Barkin and Kiefer have joined the cast with production set to begin on April 20 in New York.

Jordan Melamed penned the script which is said to follow a high school dropout-turned-drug dealer. His lucrative life sours when the dealer’s cousin is brutally murdered on an East Harlem playground and his best friend is arrested for the crime. McDonell wrote his novel when he was only 17, which depicted teenage drug use and decadence on the Upper East Side.

Daphne Brogdon sat down with Kiefer Sutherland to go “Inside 24″. She opens up the interview talking about the White House siege and asks, “Do you think it’s a good idea for Jack to be protecting the President again?”

What’s his response to the question?

“Well, yeah. We generally have two or three storlines going and at some point those stories will converge. And I think that one of them….the most interesting aspects of our show from the very beginning with David Palmer as President, the first African American President…all the way till now in our show and the context of our show, the first female President, played by Sherry Jones. Those have been very exciting story lines.”
