Geek Fight: Chloe vs. Janis
July 31, 2008 by Diana
We know very little about Janeane Garofalo’s upcoming character, Janis Gold, other than that she’ll be part of a group of agent’s investigating a national security crisis. Now comes news that she may end up sparing with Chloe O’Brian, who along with Bill Buchanan will be rogue aides to Jack.
As I looked at the season seven promo photo’s, I couldn’t help but wonder, who’d win in a fight? Gold’s slightly nerdy glasses infer that she is tv ’smart’, and Garofalo’s eyebrow’s give a bad ass vibe but then there’s Chloe. In the past she’s been known to yield a machine gun to awesome results but she has been domesticated and is shockingly cracking a smirk in her official photo.
So I think all bets are off.
If they were gonna throw down, whose side would you be on?

Kurtwood Smith on Taking on Jack Bauer
July 30, 2008 by Diana
Anyone who ever watched That 70’s Show knows that Kurtwood Smith can yell and interrogate like the best of him. He’ll be appearing in the upcoming season of 24 as a senator who doesn’t exactly agree with Jack’s tactic’s.
Smith recently spoke to Kristen over at E! about his character’s interaction with Jack Bauer, saying, “I‘m in the first episode, and then I don’t come back until episode 10. I’m a U.S. senator, and the first episode is in a hearing room—where I’m grilling Jack—and then a good deal of the rest of it takes place in the White House, and what we’re shooting this week is my last big scene, and it’s just Kiefer and I. It’s a very interesting scene. It really addresses the argument between my character and Kiefer’s attempt at justifying what he has to do.”
It’ll be interesting to see Jack have to defend his actions for once. There’s no doubt he’s quick to torture, even if it does get results for him in the end.
Buy Kiefer Sutherland’s House, Only $4,895,000
July 30, 2008 by Diana
From the outside it looks like the homeless shelter down the street from my parent’s house but from the inside Kiefer Sutherland’s warehouse is pretty damn nice. It’s got a gym, a sauna, a recording studio, 25 foot ceilings and is impeccably decorated.

Sutherland bought the downtown LA pad is 2002 for $700,000 and is flipping it for nearly five million. Talk about a good real estate deal. One downside, the area is better known for its crackheads and homeless than celebrity sightings. To each one’s own I suppose.
Season 7 Gets Another Villain
Well, he may just be a henchman. Rory Cochran will join 24 playing an associate of Jonas Hodges. Hodges, played by Jon Voight, was previously announced to be season seven’s big bad, a character Voight described as “a witty fellow, sarcastic perhaps. He’s intimidating because he plays it light, but he’s got a sharp barb – his tongue can hurt you. He’s got a sense of humor, but boy, he’s dangerous.” No doubt if Rory Cochran’s character is running with Hodges, he’s bad news.
Cochran is best known to television audiences as Tim Speedle on CBS’ CSI Miami. His movie roles have included Dazed and Confused, Empire Records and A Scanner Darkly.
Mary Lynn Rajskub Has a Baby Boy
July 28, 2008 by Diana
Congratulations to Mary Lynn Rajskub and partner Matthew Rolph on their new arrival, Valentine Anthony. Valentine weighed in at 9lbs and 5oz’s.
Rajskub made light of the late delivery (she was two weeks past her due date), by telling People Magazine that “It was like an episode of 24 with the clock ticking.”
Let’s hope kids in preschool call the kid Val, otherwise he may be in for some beat downs.
24 at Comic Con: The Damnit Drinking Game (VIDEO)
If you’ve ever watched 24 with a group of friends, odds are alcohol has been involved. If not, seriously, WHY not? One infamous part of every 24 drinking game is to drink whenever Jac yells ‘Damnit’ at someone. The crew behind 24 are aware of this, and told the crowd at Comic Con how they have fun with the word.
And Cameron? That must have made his year.
24 at Comic Con: Kiefer Gives it to the Fans (VIDEO)
July 26, 2008 by Diana
Kiefer Sutherland took a moment during yesterday’s panel to thank the fans, not only for supporting the show, and subsequently him but for just being generally awesome during the long 24-less drought we’ve all had to endure. Check it out:
